It requires
doing things you don’t want to, but must.
It requires plans and budgets.
Forms, paperwork, and contracts. Bills. Scheduling your own appointments (and
remembering when to schedule them!). Complicated
financial jargon that I somehow must know, now.
Learning to be assertive and using your “adult reasoning voice.” Taxes.
Spending time reading reviews for cleaning supplies/apartments/mechanics. Being tired.
A lot.
I’m
grateful that I don’t have to do this on my own. Adult-ness will be our next adventure.
