Today marks our 60-day wedding countdown. To celebrate, Emilio and I went on a little date at Old Town Alexandria, one of our favorite places to be. We ate dinner by the harbor, walked along the pier, and watched the rainstorm loom in. We laughed a lot, held hands the whole time, and talked much about the very near future. We couldn't be any more excited to finally be husband and wife.
On the way back to our cars, the rainstorm final caught up to us. We ran through the rain, laughing, shivering, and slipping on puddles. It couldn't have been a more perfect ending to our spontaneous date.
